Free course in Malta on regenerative agriculture: how deep tech is transforming the sector

ASOMI College of Sciences, an accredited institution based in Malta, in collaboration with EIT Food, is launching a new edition of the free online course dedicated to regenerative agriculture, with a specific focus on the application of advanced technologies (deep tech) in the agri-food sector. The programme is open to students and professionals from across Europe and is part of the EIT RIS network initiatives supporting the sustainable transition of local economies.

A course for those who believe in regenerative agriculture

The course “RIS Inspire – Deep Tech in Regenerative Agriculture” is designed for individuals who want to deepen their knowledge of the practices and technologies that make regenerative agriculture a sustainable, resilient, and innovative model. Entirely free of charge and online, the programme is open to citizens of EIT RIS countries, including Italy and Malta, and is structured to offer flexibility and accessibility for students and young professionals.

The course runs from 9 to 27 June 2025, requiring an estimated 15 hours of weekly commitment. Participants will receive a final certificate and may access the follow-up programme “Inspire Impact,” which offers cash prizes of up to €4,000.

Why take a course on regenerative agricultureThe value of this programme lies in offering practical tools to integrate regenerative agriculture with technological innovation. During the course, participants will develop skills in:

  • Green entrepreneurship and sustainability
