Start of the 7th Nextgen Payments Forum in Malta.

The Nextgen Payments Forum Malta, taking place on 09-10 May 2019 is the 7th consecutive Forum within the Global Payments Series. Set to address the new era innovation projects on the banking sector, the balance between regulation and innovation, disruptive FinTechs, collaborations and alliances, market integration, disruptive technology, cross border payment systems, SupTech, RegTech, Crypto trading, Blockchain case uses and the legal side of payments.

The 7th NPF is inviting its international network of industry influencers to Malta – EU member state that is currently leading the pack in regulating crypto assets and trading virtual currency. This exclusive payments Forum will bring together policymakers, leading solution providers, regulators, institutional representatives, as well as senior executives from the Banking, e-Merchant, Retail, Insurance, Investment, Trading and Gaming industries from across the globe.

Keynotes, interactive panel discussions, and challenger sessions will tackle vital industry challenges, explore current trends and introduce new market innovations as well as highlight business success projects/schemes – set to disrupt the industry. Participants will get the unique chance to hear high-caliber expert insights from such renowned industry shapers as the Forums’ chairs Peter Oakes, Founder, Fintech Ireland, Board Director, TransferMate & Susquehanna International and Robert Courtneidge, CEO, Moorwand.

Lastly, regulatory updates and insights on PSD2, Open Banking, current Regtech & Suptech trends will be provide by the Forums panelists (institutional & supervisory reps).
