MACTT: the new Mediterranean Institute of Higher Education in Malta

A new Educational Institute of reference for the Mediterranean is born in Malta. MACTT (Mediterranean Academy of Culture, Technology and Trade) is a Higher Education Institute licensed by the National Commission for Futher and Higher Education of Malta (license no. 2020-005) which has in its program the realization of higher education projects.

All training activities carried out by MACTT are based on universal principles and values such as the harmonious and balanced growth of communities for the real well-being of people. This is a great purpose to be pursued through different ways: the meeting between peoples, cultural exchange, the development of technological culture in the digital age, the planning of supranational economic policies, the proper management of migration flows, data management, the construction of the cities of the future with a view to sustainable development and energy efficiency.

These values, until now supported by cultural and non-profit events organised by the affiliate MACTT NGO’s members, will become the basis of new training courses that will disseminate the best skills to deliver to the international community of the new millennium a new heritage of professionalism and human capital.

For the construction of this project, MACTT will act first of all in the knowledge of languages and new technologies: in this both are basic tools to break down any cultural barrier, improve relationships and share common goals. In addition, several short and long term training projects are underway in strategic sectors to conceive, design and build new professional skills for the future.

Let’s build your Future together – We make the difference” is the slogan of MACTT, which has already decided to create a network of relationships and partnerships with other protagonists of training and culture in the Mediterranean. Like the Department of Informatics of the University of Salerno, with which MACTT has signed an agreement aimed at technological and digital innovation and the promotion of university exchanges. Or with the International University for Peace of Rome, a structure delegated to represent the UN University for Peace – UPEACE in South East Europe, the Middle East, the Mediterranean basin and North and Sub-Saharan Africa: MACTT has become an agency of this prestigious office based in Rome.

With a clear project to follow and an expanding network of relationships, MACTT ( https://www.mactt.eu ) is preparing to launch new training courses to provide the best skills and knowledge, to be enhanced in a cultural context open to the world and its many opportunities.
