Following an impressive pool of shortlisted nominees and months of careful research and evaluation by some of the most respected individuals in the hair dressing industry, the Malta Hair Dressing Awards 2019® is thrilled to announce the introduction and launch of the first edition of these unique awards: it will be held on 6th December 2019 at Castello dei Baroni, in Wardija.
The event, organized by MBR Publications, is combined with the Malta’s Best in Business Awards 2019, scheduled on the same occasion, which we will present shortly. Both initiatives will be supported by Malta Business.
Returning to the “Maltese hairdressing oscars”, each of the finalists will be presented during an awards ceremony during a gala evening that will see the participation of the main players in the sector.
In addition to the judged winners, the Malta Hair Dressing Awards 2019® shall also award the Lifetime Achievement Award to the deserved winner on the night.

Since being created, the Malta Hair Dressing Awards 2019® will grow to become one of the prestigious and sought-after awards in the industry. Recognising writers and brand ambassadors, the Awards showcase the talent found throughout every aspect of the hairdressing world.
While every award present carries a high level of prestige, the final award announced is always the most coveted among nominees. Malta’s Best Hairdresser Award compiles the gross votes for both Maltese and International finalists in the following categories: Malta’s Most Innovative Salon, Malta’s Most Creative, Male Hairdresser of the Year and Female Hairdresser of the Year. From this incredibly competitive pool of finalists, we shall all be eager to see who shall edge out as the victor, taking home both the signature Crystal Trophy and the bragging rights of being honoured as the best in the Malta.
