SiGMA Group has announced that the Medical Cannabiz World summit will take place from 4th to 5th November 2019 at the Intercontinental Hotel, St. Julians, Malta.
As the largest event in Malta focussing on the fast-growing medicinal cannabis sector, the summit will be where all the best deals are made, with exhibitors including brands from across the industry – production, logistics, payment processing, KYC, legal, regulatory and more.
The inaugural edition of Medical Cannabiz World will open doors to the high-growth medicinal cannabis sector, recently unlocked by the Maltese government’s commitment to legislation supporting this global industry.
In the same way that success for SIGMA, the World’s iGaming Village, and the Malta A.I. & Blockchain Summit was linked to Malta’s visionary stance on regulating these industries, the Medical Cannabiz World summit will focus on the regulatory benefits for businesses setting up in Malta, attracting investors, medical researchers, policy makers and entrepreneurs looking to forge exciting new opportunities.
Over 2,000 delegates will be networking, brokering deals, and discussing the important issues defining the sector, including legislation, education, investment, and technology.
Eman Pulis, founder and CEO of SiGMA Group, commented, “This is another huge milestone for both Malta and the wider business community involved in the life-changing medicinal cannabiz industry. With Malta’s new regulatory environment in this area, we’re seeing a significant number of companies coming to the island to take part in the summit, many of which are either looking for angel funding from early bird investors or offering investment opportunities.”
Medical Cannabiz World is part of MALTA WEEK, featuring the Malta A.I. & Blockchain Summit between the 7th-8th November.
